The Tears of Luciana the Mermaid

Luciana the mermaid is very sad: her love the prince has left her, and she can't stop weeping salty tears. Luciana's sad tears make the ocean overly salty, thereby putting Luciana's friend on the continent of Antarctica – the sea mammals and the emperor penguin – at risk.

Her good friends decide to put together a joyful laughter party for her. Luciana becomes happy once again, her tears turn sweet, and the ocean is saved.

Victoria Adler–Sharon, a senior nurse by training, and MPH (Master of Public Health) by education, is a writer and a poet who has so far published in Hebrew: Red Blood-Blue Blood; Sharks are also awake at night; Crickety Thoughts; A new way of life; A Place and Time to Be; A book of poetry corresponding with photographs taken from around the world, in collaboration with Victoria's husband, photographer Nissim Sharon.
